Life is like a mirror. You get what you give. If you smile, life smiles at you. It is in this perspective that we understand the Golden Rule of today's gospel. "Do to others whatever you would have them do to you." It is a pity that people long to be loved but have not learned to love at all. It is ironic that some desire to receive but have not given anything. Negatively, karma says harm begets harm. Positively, the Golden Rule affirms that love begets love. |
