We celebrate today the Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Yes, her maternal help is perpetual and unending. Her example is enduring. During her earthly life, she listened to the word of God and lived by it. Today's gospel reminds us that entry into heaven is not guaranteed by a mere lip-service. It entails doing the will of God. Mary did just that. In heaven, she enjoys God's company, constantly interceding for all of us, offering perpetual help. |
